Lacing is part of racing

Have you ever stopped in the middle of a race to tie your shoelaces? Do they come undone during your long runs? Do you use the granny knot and then the double knot?

Most runners do not know how to tie their shoelaces. They end up tying a double knot to prevent them from coming undone. Their laces look asymmetrical.

I stumbled upon an article at www.runnersworld.com on tying shoe laces and have been using the technique ever since. They call it the Ian Knot. Try it! It works.

or
If you don't trust it. Just do the double knot after the Ian Knot. Or try the 17 other shoelace tying techniques at http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/ianknot.htm
